When we receive your inquiry, we assume that you have read and agreed to our policies. These policies apply to anyone who has purchased or inquired about an animal from us, whether they choose to read this completely or not.

*Please note- our method of doing sales is different then most breeders. We do it this way for several reasons. We encourage you to view our sales process page before contacting us about an animal.

General

  • We will not deal with anyone under the age of 18years old. (A form must be signed, the person who signs this form must be 18 or older)

  • We reserve the right to refuse the sale of any animal at any given time and solely at our discretion. If we decide upon this, you will receive a refund.

  • All animals are sold on a first come, first serve basis. 

  • We CAN NOT guarantee an animal's show winnings, reproductive ability, growth or quality of offspring, as this is impossible to predict

  • We will not knowingly sell a sick animal. If something happens while in your possession, it is your responsibility. We are not responsible for any vet bills incurred

  • .All of my animals sold are priced by several factors (quality, color, age, etc.) and are subject to change at any time.

  • We do everything we can to produce healthy chicks, and we can guarantee your chicks will be healthy at time of pick up.

  • All chicks are sold as straight-run only unless noted. We do not sex our chicks.

  • We do not guarantee the number of males/females in your order. 

Minimum order

  • ​We prefer to sell at least 5 chicks per order, but we will sell in lesser quantities than recommended (2 chicks is the smallest order we will do. We will not sell just 1 chick).

  • Ordering 5 chicks provides better warmth than just 2 chicks which results for a better survival rate. 

  • You can buy any combination of breeds we have available to reach our minimum but please understand larger breeds can knock around bantams due to size difference. 

24 hour live chick guarantee

  •  We do offer a 24 hour live chick guarantee if you purchase 5 chicks or more at one time. (Please note when ordering lesser quantities we CAN NOT offer our 24 hour guarantee).

  • If you have any deaths within 24hours of purchasing we will replace the deceased the chicks. 

  • Upon this happening you must send me an email with pictures of the deceased chick before disposal to apply for this guarantee. 

  • It will be your responsible to retrieve the replacements. (Meaning we will not meet for replacements, you must come to Montvale, Va).  If you are not local (driven a distance), we will offer a credit (for the amount of the deceased) on a future order or will bring the replacement chicks to a swap we are attending.

  • We will only refund at our discretion. 

Hatching eggs

  • Very rarely do we sell hatching eggs but when we do all hatching eggs are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, all sales are final.

  • Our eggs are handled with care from collection, but we CAN NOT guarantee your hatch rate. We will test fertility before selling any eggs but we are not responsible for your hatch rate due to different outcomes in different incubators and factors out of our control. 

  • We do not guarantee fertility we can only inform the customer what our hatch rate has been in our incubators. 

  • Due to not being able to guarantee hatching rates once the eggs leave our farm, we will not refund no exceptions. 

  • We will replace or refund if we are at fault.  

Deposits/ Payments

  • We will not hold an animal without a non-refundable deposit (50% of purchase price).

  • The 50% deposit goes towards the total price of the animal; it is not an extra charge. The remaining 50% must be paid at pickup unless being delivered.

  • If you place a deposit on an animal and decide not to get the animal afterwards, the sale is cancelled and deposit is forfeited. If you do not show up at the desired destination the sale will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. 

  • We accept cash and Paypal (If using Paypal, the buyer is responsible for the fees from the transaction.)

  • After deposit is made, you have 1 week to arrange pick up or deliver. Past the 1 week, you will be charged a boarding fee of $20.00 per week unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time. 

  • We accept payments which can be discussed in a private message or email.

  • If making payments, the animal or item will not leave our possession until paid in full, no exceptions. 

  • For items (cages, carriers etc) payment must be paid in full before shipping or prior to meeting if delivering further than Bedford or Roanoke. 

Pick up/ Delivery 

  • We do not ship animals at this time. We will meet in Montvale, VA; in Roanoke, VA at Burger King on Orange Ave or at Tractor Supply in Bedford, VA free of charge. Anything further than them 3 destinations, a fee of $0.75 per mile will be added to the price for fuel. 

  • If delivering further than the 3 destinations above, the purchase price as well as the fuel fee must be paid in full before meeting, no exceptions.

  • ​ If you do not show up at the desired destination the sale will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. 

  • We accept cash only upon pick up.

  • We do not allow visitors to our property due to the safety of our family and animals. Why we do not allow visitors? (click here) 

  • Buyers are responsible for bringing a carrier with them at the time of pickup to bring their new animal home in. (We do carry our own line of poultry carriers which can be purchased prior to pick up)

  • Buyers are responsible for looking over the animal they are purchasing at the time of pickup to be sure it is what they want.

  • It is the buyers responsibility to arrange and pay for transport if needed.

  • We do have a receipt that would need to be signed at the time of pick up. 

Cancellations

  • ​​If you decide to cancel an order once payment has been received, you will be charged a 25% cancellation fee.

  • If you are unhappy with your experience or purchase please give us a chance to make it right.
